Helpful tips on choosing the right childcare for your child.

Not all children are suited to Day Nurseries. Some will
settle better in a one-to-one environment such as a childminder.

When viewing Day Nurseries, turn up unannounced so that you can see the nursery for what it is and so nothing has been specially prepared for you. Always bring someone with you, they may see things that you don't.

Prepare any questions in advance because they will be easier to remember if you have them written down.

Try to visit more than one nursery so that you can compare.
